Is The IOS14 Update Killing Your Ads? Watch This Training To Learn How My Agency Clients Are Getting AMAZING Results By Avoiding the IOS14 Altogether!

Jul 07, 2021

MANY advertisers and business owners utilizing advertising have seen a HUGE dip in their results since the IOS14 update went into attack mode.

I'm hearing left and right that ad costs are going up, the tracking is completely messed up, and how now their ROI is hard for them to see.

There's a solution I will be sharing soon, but before I do let me give you some background.

Before the IOS14 was going into affect, I saw all the other ad experts out there telling their clients to do what Facebook was telling everyone to do.

  • Verifying your domain
  • Setting up your aggragated events

However, I already knew that even if you set all this up, the problem would still rely on the fact that if someone decides to OPT OUT of the app tracking them, that means you won't be able to track them.

(or if you can, you can only see them in a short period of time)

The other problem I knew would happen as well is that when the Facebook Pixel cannot see who is opting in, that means it can't find more people willing to convert.

Plus, lets not forget how running retargeting ads are super important and without the data, its hard to run them.

Due to knowing this information, I decided to try something new. This isn't something I like doing, but it was important to figure something out in order to get the best results for my agency clients.

I looked around, and I remember seeing 1 ad in the past that could be subbed out for an opt in. This particular ad is called a "Lead Generation" objective ad.

The Lead Generation Objective

The Lead Generation Objective can be used for a variety of situations: application to your high ticket offer, or in this case an opt in.

All of my clients are service based businesses like coaches. In which most of the time they have a freebie opt in to their automated funnels or even to a launch for a free webinar.

I decided to become a guinea pig a few weeks before the IOS14 took into affect, and I set up a Lead Generation Objective for myself to see if it would get leads (and good ones too!).

Within a few short hours I was already seeing some amazing results using this objective. Ever since the IOS14 update came into effect though, I got my clients on board of it as well.

All this type of an ad is, it's basically an opt in form ON Facebook/Instagram. When someone clicks the ad, it pops up with the opt in form right there. The great thing about this for you is there is no need to ANYTHING about the IOS14 update PLUS, you don't have to create a beautiful opt in on your site.

Results

Let me show you some results of a client. We spent $2,364 for a client, and we got 392 leads. That's about $6,03 per lead.

And maybe you think that's a little high (I don't especially since these were high quality leads).

However, check this out...

She made a total of 17 sales from this small launch, so $34,000. With most of them coming the 1st day of the open cart and also they were mostly pay in full sales.

And lastly, we have another client of mine who recently switched from the conversions objective to now the lead generation objective. Look at this big change:

Before:

After:

This works for a number of reasons:

Reason #1: It Puts You Higher In The Algorithm: I'm not 100% about this, however, if you think about it every social media platform wants keep their consumers on their platform. If you keep the person on their platform, they will reward you for that.

Reason #2: It Tracks EVERY SINGLE PERSON: Facebook needs to know who is opting in to make sure your ad gets shown to the people who are more willing to opt in. The Lead Generation Objective allows you to track EVERY SINGLE PERSON that opts in.

Another upside to this: if you can track every single person, you can also retarget them!

Alright, let me show you the goods on how to set this up for yourself....

Want to know another big reason why people are struggling with their ads that has nothing to do with the IOS14 update?

I know that automated funnels are all the craze right now. We don't have a lot of time in our businesses and so automating our marketing seems very enticing.

It's fun to think that we can create something that will never make us go on a sales call ever again.

But that's all it is, its a trend and fad.

We're in 2021 people! We just dealt with a horrible year, and we just don't have the patience to opt in on your automated webinar.

We are CRAVING connection in 2021.

Connection is what sells.

Your potential clients want to connect with you, but by shoving them into an automated funnel, you defeat that purpose.

So what do you do instead? You build that connection -- even if its automated.

For example, a 5 day challenge that you have every 2 weeks into a pop up facebook group. Do this live the first time, then you can automate it over and over.

Another example, a webinar that is short and to the point.

Another example, a training that actually gives them a result during the training.

Connection building is what is working right now with ads more than anything else.
