Facebook Ad Hacks to Increase ROI
Mar 09, 2021
Are you ready to lower your ad spend and make more sales using Facebook Ads? In this video, I share 5 Facebook ad hacks I use for my clients to increase their ROI.
1.) Choose the Right Objective
I recommend that you use conversions. The reason behind that is if you're choosing an objective, you have to think in terms of the main objective. What is the main objective that I want my consumer to do when it comes to my ad? For instance, if you have a video that you need a large number of people to see so that you can retarget them, then you can use video views as your objective. This will ensure that Facebook finds more people who are going to watch your video. While if you want to get more opt-ins for a webinar, you should choose conversions so Facebook can find more people who are going to sign-up for your webinar. Choosing the right objective will help ensure that Facebook is really working for you.
2.) Use Manual Placements
This is a tip that I tell people over and over again because it is so important to use manual placements. If you use the placements that Facebook recommends, ads are often placed everywhere, including the right column area which people don't often pay attention to. Therefore, it makes more sense to use manual placements and choose where your ads will be shown. I find that the best placements are in the Facebook news feed, Instagram news feed, and Instagram stories. You should never use all of the placements because it is simply a waste of money.
3.) Target Your Ideal Client
A lookalike audience is the best way to target your ideal client. You can grab data from your email list, your Instagram followers, or even your pixel to create a lookalike audience from that data. This will help you find the average of those people so that you can target your ideal client.
4.) Sell YOU
Keep in mind that you are selling yourself. You are not selling your product. You are selling you and sometimes you are selling your framework. This being said, do not use stock photos, but rather photos of yourself. Professional photos work best but a selfie can be successful too. It's important that your picture stands out amongst the rest. Think about what picture is going to make someone stop when they are scrolling through their news feed.
5.) Write Copy for Your Ideal Client
Write copy that speaks to your ideal client. This copy should speak specifically to one person. It should be attention-grabbing and contain a happy point question and a pain point question. An example of a happy point question is: Are you ready to find love? While a pain point question might be: Tired of spending so much time writing copy? These questions will help your target audience understand how you aim to solve their problems.
I hope you enjoyed these 5 tips that you will lower your ad spend and increase sales.
